Max RPM's i and dealer see on the stock tach is 5800 when the weather/water was 10-15 degrees cooler. water PSI 20-25 at WOT and 8 +/- at idle. Only have a couple total hours behind the wheel and haven't really let er' rip for a long ride yet due to flooding and logs/trash everywhere in the river. Went 1 miles WOT back and forth the past few trips out up and down river. Wanted to spend a lot more time on the Ultrex. Turned 5500 RPMS almost trimmed out in 75 degree water and 90-95 heat /w high humidity. Speed wise I was hitting 44-46 but it was hitting it as I was just about to come to a bridge to slow. There was still room to trim out prior to slowing down. Next trip I'll let it go for 5-7 miles down river. Comes out of the hole like a beast. Motor is ridiculously quiet and uses almost not gas/oil which is nice. XD100 is pricey around here. NFB steering is nice, too.
    Thanks

Dealer pushed the delivery date again. Waiting for him to call back. A little frustrated at this point.

Funny! You guys crack me up.

I put the prop on and I'm like a kid in a candy store. I start putting my tackle in and walk by prop and spin it. I hear clink. I look an I didn't open up the cotter pin to hold the nut. It fell out. Oops. So I fixed that then began to very methodically and slowly check everything I did.

Even at 52 you can be like a teenager. Lol.

Going out this am to fish a couple hours in the dawn. Run the motor awhile and maybe fish some more.

i was hitting 48 at 56-5700 /w 21 viper according to lowrance elite. Full gas and tackle trimmed out. 85 air 72-75 water. 20-22 Psi. Cruised 5 to 6 miles at that but there was so much barge traffic i had to slow down

After 2 hours I hit 46.5 mph before blowout. Hoping a Viper will give me 1-2 mph more, but if not I'm good with it. Pretty fast for a mod v hull

I'm with you on the speed. I got it expecting 45-46 and was surprised at 48. Probably will hit 50 in the later summer/fall months which is just an added bonus. Hope you enjoy the motor. I'm very happy /w it so far.

I lowered the jp 1/4". No blowout on top end. 6024 rpm and 46.6mph.

I think this is going to like my 90 hp was.
    Rogue prop alone
Viper prop with a fishing partner
Time will tell Viper will be here next week.

I'll keep posting the performance info.
