    Oil leaking from new motor

This is a new motor that has not been on the water yet, just wondering if this is normal.

I'd take it to your dealer before taking it on the water. If someone on a forum told you it was normal, would you believe them?

Well my dealer is telling me to run it lol. I just don't remember seeing anything like this on my last new XS which was a 2014

Don't run it. Motor has to go back to the Dealer for warranty repair/documentation.

Had a friend with same problem. His came from Mercury with bad hose connection on oil pump line under the cowl.

I pulled the cowling and couldn't find any oil, guess it's just going to go back to the dealer before I get it out.
