    2013 Pantera IV speed

I opened the boat up today with me the wife, 3/4 tank of gas and full livewells, full ice chest and all our gear I was running 66. Didn't remember to check RPM's I do know I was a only trimmed less than a 1/4 on the dial. Does that sound about right? I'm a big ol' boy. Lake was almost like glass. I usually tool around between 40 and 50. Not a speed freak but do enjoy going fast on occasion. I do know it will eat wakes from other boats like candy.

You're probably about right with running an Ultrex, 2 poles and all that gas and being a grown man. My '09 ran a little faster, I was running a Croxton worked 24 Fury. The PIV is a wonderful boat and great in big water.

I have a 2012 with one pole and the fastest I've gotten is 69.7mph with 24 fury but when I was test driving the boat before buying the previous owner hit 70.8 with me and him and about 1/2 tank of gas.

Thank you sir. I figured it was about right loaded heavy. Wife packs it like she is going out of town. We have about 10 rods and every kind of crappie jig known to man. I am a tackle ho!

Yesterday I touched 69 with livewells empty, all our gear, grandson (65lbs) wife, and my lard arse. Learning what she likes is fun. I know one thing my wife absolutely loves this boat and said we are never selling this one. I agree. This is what I have been wanting in a boat all along. Eats wakes and white caps, handles like a dream, and is easy on gas. Once again thanks BassCat for building an awesome dream boat.

I would add that's not too shabby for the conditions.

Play with the trim until you find the sweet spot. 70 should be achievable but I hear ya running 50 just getting around is perfect and the cats do it well.

70 is definitely achievable, I've been 71 in my 2012 PIV with 2 people.

Finally remembered to look. Fury 25 is what it says. Is that the one I should have?
