    1999 jaguar w/250 HPDI question

I'm having issues with my boat wanting to bounce a lot at various speeds.
im running a 3 blade 25 pitch fury, with hydraulic jack plate.
has anyone came across this problem before? I can keep trimming up and it will kinda go away, but gets a little loose feeling.

Have you tried running it with the plate lower.

Maybe try a 4 blade prop if lowering the jack plate does not work?

Put more prop in the water and put your trim down.

The 1999 Jaguar is a great boat three hull generations back from the present Puma FTD and Cougar FTD hulls. The HPDI should run well with a Fury or the Pro Series Yamaha props. It has setup needs to achieve improved performance.

Three hull generations back, or four different hulls back. This was the original big brother.

I did move it from 3'' below pad down another 3", since I have a HYD plate. The steering gets a little stiff until I trim back up a little.

What setup needs would you recommend? I already run the fury, should I try a 4 blade fury? Add wedges?

    All info is greatly appreciated.

Something is wrong. Steering should NOT get stiffer as you LOWER the motor. Quite the opposite. Steering gets stiffer as you begin to surface the prop which lets the motor torque work in only one direction since the top half of the prop is not fully in the water.

I should correct which I'm lowering, the JP when lowered all the way down, then I can raise it until it back u a few inch's then it the stiffness goes away.

After reading a lot of threads, regarding my situation I'm just going to get out and spend more time playing around with motor height and location, and do some weight adjustments in the boat.
