    Light issues! Please help

So long story short - only lights that work on my trailer are the brake, blinkers and hazards. No running lights at all. Lights are brand new so I know it's not them. Also when I plug in to truck, display on truck still says trailer disconnected. Have had an electrician look at it twice and can't figure it out. To the point where I may just have to rewire whole trailer, hope not but I'm at my wits end. Any help is appreciated.

    Fuse on the truck.

. Like said it could be as simple as a fuse.
Did the (Electrician) check to see if you had power to the plug ?? I would make sure of that before going to the trailer side.

Check the brown wire on the trailer and at the connector plug with your lights on for 12 volts.
