Stuck Yamaha Thrust Washer..........Help!

I have a 250 SHO that I want to change props on and do normal maintenance on. When I pulled the prop, I found the Thrust washer stuck. I tried prying it with a screwdriver, purchasing a 6" gear puller (From O'Reilly's. Not the best quality puller), claw hammer, nothing so far has popped this thing free.

I am sure I am not the only one with this problem. Any advice would be great.

I also need the part number for a new thrust washer just in case I ruin this one.

Brass Punch, hard hit like you are trying to drive it onto the propshaft further, it will pop free. Sounds counter intuitive but it works.

All the above ,then when install it . Put a tad more grease .

i have one stuck on a 150 merc xri, guess i will give it a big ol smack, see what happens

I had one stuck once. Ended up being a bent prop shaft. Hope that's not your issue.
