I run a 06 Stratos 285 Pro XL, 150 Yamaha HPDI, 25 Trophy plus ss. I have been getting 59-61 at 5700-5800 RPM. Last few times out, same speed but the tach is showing over 6000 RPM. I am thinking my tach might be off. Any thoughts?

I'm surprised you are turning a 25 4 blade 6K with a 150 anything. Do the math on the prop slip, and are you reading speed from a GPS?
Yes, GPS on Helix 9. That's why I asked if my Tach may be off. And it's a 3 Blade.
A 3 blade trophy?

Pull the tach out and find the numbered setting switch, mark where it's setting then turn it left and right a few times to clean the contacts and then set it back to where you started and run the boat it to see if that cleared up the problem. His motor has 2:0 gears
