Pole and steps??
Notice in the build gallery very few boats with the trailer pole and steps. Any opinions one way or the other.

100% recommend it. It makes loading and unloading the boat by yourself much easier. Also when carrying tackle in and out of the boat you don't have to set it down in the deck and climb up the fenders. It's one of the first recommendations I make to people who are considering a Legend.

I'll never own another boat trailer that doesn't have the steps. As bassassasin said it's much easier to load and unload yourself and to get in the boat without climbing over the fenders. When I picked up my v20 my dad liked it soo much that the next week he ordered 1 for his triton.

I've always wanted one I called legend and was quoted a crazy amount of money for shipping something upwards of $100.
-
Yeah I think they charged my dad $145 for shipping due to its size....honestly tho he thought it was well worth it getting in and out of his boat with bad knees and back
-
Worth it all the way along with the flared step on the trailer tongue.

I installed Eazy Step on my 2009 Alpha 199 trailer

Thanks guys. Fee much better having ordered one.

That pole sits up really high. Hope it fits in my garage.

If you are looking for something smaller but still works well look at the flex step by Keel Guard. Love mine.

The steps are a "no brainer" in my opinion. Totally worth it. They make loading the boat much easier and safer. they also are easier on my aging knees. I was concerned about the height as well but it easily fits in a standard height garage.

How much are they from legend? I forgot the quote it was 2 years ago? Just like to know after shipping what the price is compared to trick step.

Think when my dad ordered his it was around $250 plus another $150 shipping
