    Free Tip (Cable Ties)

    This is for all you guys that use 17 rolls of black tape to hold down your transducer wires on your troll motors.

    I prefer black tape as it won't kink the cable from over tightening.

    The 1st boat I bought from a dealer, whoever rigged the boat out had done it with ties. It didn't take long for the tie to develop a little loop between them and the cable got pinched in the mount bracket of the motor and cost me the price of a new transducer. Ever since then, cheap black tape it is...lol.

    Keeps the cable in place and doesn't kink/crush the wire.

    I prefer tape.. no kinks/knicks, won't loosen up over time and snag grass..
