150 merc 4S prop recommendation - Nitro Z7

I'm running a 2015 Nitro Z7 with a 150 Merc 4S. boat was bought New, still in warranty. Runs like a top. recently added an 8" JP (manual) with hopes of gaining a couple MPH & have footing for power power pole in the future.

boat came stock with a 23 Tempest - turns around 5700-5800 (no smart craft ga) with the tempest.
I'm setting at 3.5" below pad now, still turning 5800, top speed of 60.2MPH
I have a 24P Croxton Razor that I have tried - will run 61 top speed; slow out of the hole though & only turns around 5500 rpm topped out. still at 3.5"

Water pressure is good - >25.

Question for you guys - will the 8" setback be enough to run this 24 on a Z7 or is this just too much prop for the engine on this boat?
150 pro XS comes standard with a 24p tempest.

That's about the same size/weight as my Ranger Z118C and I have had excellent results with a Bravo 1 in a 21P. Hellish hole shot, not so much on top end, which I wasn't looking for because of fishing the Mississippi River backwaters near LaCrosse, WI.

Your engine comes with NO propeller. Propeller is selected as an accessory (based on the boat engine is being used on).

I would be surprised if you swing the 24P up into the 5700-5800 range (where you really need to be). Try the 23P after you install the plate, and see how it performs.
