Larry Pugh & Ed Houston Fishing Bait Sale!!

Me and my friend Chris went by there Friday evening to check it out. I bought 4 Lucky Crafts, that were fairly beat up, for a good price. After lots of sanding was able bring them back to life. Hopefully they will catch fish once again.

Yes sir!! Threadfin Shad color. Black first on the back, then color shift copper to green.

I started painting about a year ago, its a fun hobby especially when you can take old beat up baits and make them like new.

Wife and I hit the lake for a while Today and had a blast. I caught over 30 bass with several around 4lbs. Stopped on my 1st spot and they were chewing on a deep crank. Caught around 20 on the 1st stop. Got a few on a spoon, few on a c-rig and a few on a jig. No giants, but a ton of fun!! Yep the Lemon Pepper color I made up that I bought from Ed & Larry caught the 1st 20 Today.

It was a very nice day bud. Wife never wet a hook. She was chili in the morning and started reading a book & never put it down. I couldn't believe that she wouldn't fish, the way they were biting. Glad to see the old crankbait catch fish again.
