Brother-in-law and i fished hard for 7 hours and pulled 4 fish. My question is we found NO bait fish, perch, or crawdads. Where is all the bait?🤔

Don't let those weights fool you... The scales were weighing crazy heavy......subtract 7-8 lbs from those totals and it would be closer to the truth..... Hard to get bites and the locals dominated...

Yep, they didn't weigh the mesh bags before zero. At least it was consistent across the board. And yes, it's hard to beat someone on their home lake :) Good job fellas!

A bunch of my good buddies are out there right now..... but they are flyfishing for freshwater bonefish (aka carp) I would have been out there too but in the middle of closing on a new house and couldn't be away.

khart and myself were on the water by 5:45am expecting a good topwater bite, not for us, khart got a big white bass on a Whopper Plopper, I zeroed throwing a Torpedo and a buzzbait, after the sun got up higher we fished several spots with little luck until we started fishing some wind blown banks, we hooked and failed to land 3 nice smallies using a shad colored rattle trap and a crawdad colored deep diver crankbait, overall we ended catching a few small bass, several white bass, a big drum, and a small walleye, we left at noon, THX to my B.I.L. for going with me

Anybody fish there today. Me and a buddy went up. just wanting to compare notes and see what we did wrong lol. Did end up catching 1 small mouth that was 3.78 pounds. And a bunch of small largemouth. And too many white bass to count.

They claim that the White bass population is down there but we always seem to catch a few, did you see any baitfish or mark any on sonar ??

Yeah I did see some. Out deeper by the bridge. We pretty much just ended up beating the weed lines. Didn't know where to look out deeper. Caught a sone fish and had a good time. Want to go back when it cools off a bit.

I drove by the east side of Wilson Sat. at around 7am, no boats on the water that I could see, came back from my Dad's around 6:15pm and saw nothing but jet skis, pleasure boats, pontoon boats, and tubers at the dam area all the way to the State Park and the south shore headed west, probably around 40 boats, did anyone here do any fishing ??
