anyone try it.any reviews

I've used for Spiderwire Stealth for years. Never had a reason to switch. I would think the Ultracast is just as good.

I tried spider wire years ago, didn't like it at all! always used HD finger nail clippers to cut mono line, didn't cut the spider wire, just mushed it up. and when ya snag a lure, it isn't going to break off either lolo.. If they made spider wire 1" thick, bet they could use it for cargo ship dock lines HAHAHAHA! nuff said!

That's kinda the main point with braid...
Anyway.... I use ultra cast in 15# for my spinning rods and run it to a leader. No failures I can remember, and it handles as well as any braid I've ever used on a spinning reel. I also use 65# for flipping/punching and it been completely fine in that regard as well. Doesn't dig in too bad, and it lays on the spool well once you get about a dozen casts on it to break down the coating a bit. And... it's quiet... which to me translates into smoother.
