    1999 evinrude ficht alarm

I have a 1999 evinrude ficht 200, the alarm is going off but there is no lights on the dash. I took it to and had a dealer run the diagnostics on it and it had no codes. They pretty much told me they had no clue. So now I'm back to square one. Any help would be great!

Its a solid tone that never goes off. it starts as soon as you turn the key. I have a system check tach.

Start unplugging tan wires on the motor. It sure would be a lot easier to try and help you if you posted what all had been done prior to posting instead of playing 20 questions.

well replaced the horn. I unplugged the wire pack with the five tan wires and one black, turned the key on and no alarm. I tested each wire with the key on and the black wire made the alarm go off. Thats all i know to do. I couldn't trace that black wire down. i think it goes to the computer. then i took it to the dealer. thats all thats been done.

Clean and tighten all the engine grounds, no wing nuts on the battery.
