Question Looking for a realtor around Cookville.

My wife and I are taking a trip to the Cookville area next week to look for land. We have email a couple realtors but no one has replied. (Business must be good if they can just blow off potential clients. ) Is anyone on hear a realtor or know of one around Cooksville? Thanks

Donita Hill is a customer of mine and a really nice person. She owns a realty company in Cookeville. I have never bought a house from her though. I have heard good things about Heather Skender too.

IMO most respond better to phone calls. Another good source for land is Mossy Oak Properties. We bought 42 acres 3 years ago up on the plateau close to Cookeville and found the land on Mossy Oaks.

We took a quick trip out to Cookville and Sparta and really enjoyed the area but no luck in finding the perfect piece of land. We are hoping to find 20+ acres around Center Hill that is fenced with a barn in our price range. That could take a while but we're not in a big hurry. Just looking for a place to retire to well in advance.

Prices are increasing around here at a pretty rapid rate. We only owned our property 3 years and have been offered 20% more than we paid for it. But we will most likely die here so no amount of cash will motivate us to sell.
My advice is to lock some land in sooner than later. Taxes are extremely low so it doesn't cost much to own until you decide to build.
