    Looking at a Gambler (Photos)

Hey guys. Im looking at a Gambler. Its a mid 90's. The guy im buying it from has never used the boat but its sat uncovered for the past 7 yrs unused. The gel coat is in rough shape but its not peeling or cracked. Seats need re upolstered and carpet replaced. Question is. Whats the model? All i can get from the guy is it says All Pro on the Gambler decal and is 20ft. I tried to add some pics but says theyre to big. Sorry for the double post. Thought i just added pictures

got some pictures after sanding and dong some buffing. I didnt realize there was so much flake on the boat. The oxidation was so bad it looked like soild colors. Now to the carpet and putting a steering helm on her.

To answer some of your questions. This is a 92 or 93 206 model. I have a 91 model 206. The only difference I see is the layout of the back deck and you have the grab rails.

some spots were really bad so i used 600 but gingerly. i went up to 1500 to get the scratches out. i couldnt see most of the scratches til i compounded it. i thought i could shortcut and stop at 800 or 1000 but that didnt happen.

Anyone know where to pick up a bench seat? Seams it might be cheaper than reupholstering and new foam. Or has anyone put bucket seats in?

Man you got a lot of work ahead of you....good luck, I just dont have the patience to do that kind of repairs...The boat is sure cleaning up nice though....A testament on how good the finish is on the boats...

Has anyone used Interlux before? The consoles wont come out. The oxidation was to bad on the drivers side. Its through the gel. I was thinking about sanding them out and painting black using Interlux. Not sure what it will look like. Hopefully decent.

I'll have to start taking pics. I didnt even think about that. I just had to cut out some of the front deck and replace it. I got some .125 aluminum for the console. I wanna get rid of the gauges except water pressure and tach. Gonna mount the HDS in there. Who needs a speedo? haha
