How are you measuring it? A digital accurate infrared temp gun on the thermostat pocket or an accessory analog gauge with a sender touching the back of the cylinder head?

Marine water pressure and head temp gauge. Just curious if warm idle and cool running are normal.

When I installed my water pressure gauge I learned why they say "Run it like a scalded ape".
    On a hot day idle I'm 155°-160°
    WOT 120°
