Looking at the 100 watt 8 inch powered model for the stereo upgrade in our Checkmate. Anyone have any expierence with this one? Going with the 8" for space available, and figure 100 watts rms should be enough. I installed a sony high power marine head unit and it really woke up the 6.5 clarions that were in the boat, but still need some lows. Thanks for the input
Well, i went ahead and installed one, its amazing! Highly recommend for anyone that is building a small system for thier boat. Not gonna be the loudest on the lake, but not what i was looking for. Its very small and fairly light, seems well made. I mounted it behind my battery in an ares that was just unused space. Only draws 7.5 amps, so should be easy on the battery.
