    1989 Ranger 360V setup

I have a 88' XP150 on the back and a 25 pitch shooter prop. I'm getting 5400-5500 rpm at 57 mph. No jackplate and 4 1/4" prop to pad. Holeshot seems decent but doesn't feel like much bow lift. This is with livewells pretty full and 2 people. Sound about right or am I missing out on a decent amount of mph?

With no plate and a shooter prop your down 3-4 mph. Put a 22" raker on it.

Ya that's way too much prop for that motor, try a 22 or 23 raker 2

I would try a 24 raker 2 are a 25 renegade, what step are you coming up with the prop to pad measurment, the 360 is a double step hull, that boat has more lift than say the 370 hulls an at 5500 you should be about 60 plus in the boat by yourself, i had a johnson gt 150 on a 370 hull (lead sled] an could get 58, 59 at 5400 The 360 is a hot rod an should easly out run a 370
