Helix gps settings 5 or 10 hz, glonass?

On the Helix 10 si g2n mega, there is an option to up from the default of 5 hz to 10 hz the gps frequency. Any reason I wouldn't want it at the faster 10 times/second?

Also, would gps be more accruate with glonass also enabled?

I run mine 10 Hz - GLONASS on.
