Livewell Lid Insulation

A piece of the foil coated house insulating foam that Lowes and HD sell can be cut for a tight fit to the underside of Livewell lids and provide added protection during high temp days, especially for boats with dark carpet. Did this years ago with a sheet that was 3/4 or one inch thick and except for a few nicks in the foil, it's still good.

I used some of that foil lined Styrofoam insulation to line the interior of my boat cooler. I used 1/2".
