    Peoria Bass Pro Shops

If you are in the Peoria area today before noon stop by Bass Pro Shops and see the State Record hybrid crappie. It is officially being introduced to their aquarium after a month long precautionary quarantine. My brother in law will be there giving interviews and talking about the catch.

They didnt pay him anything. Only thing they are paying for is the price of the replica mount.

Grew up in Peoria fishing out in pits near Canton. Wish I could be there to hear and see in person.

Hopefully that 80lb blue catfish in there doesnt eat it. When they released her in the tank they had a diver in the tank to make sure she didnt get eaten while she was acclimating to her new home. They said that blue cat ate a 6lb bass not long ago, was swimming around with 1/4 of the fish still hanging out its mouth.
