    Douglas lake boat ramps?

I will be visiting a friend in Maryville the weekend of May 12th and want try out Douglas lake. What is a good boat ramp to launch from with a dock to tie up too? I will be by myself so is there anything I should know about this lake? Any info appreciated. Thanks.

The ramp at the dam would be best.

Watch the corners of the ramp... the bumpers are torn and will mess up your boat. It's got me and my fishing partner. I didn't think to tell him after it got me. Like everything else on this side of the state, they neglect us.

Also, there is a BFL out of the dam that weekend so you might want to consider another ramp.

If this is not too late. Dandridge is a good ramp with a courtesy dock.
