409t setup?

I have a 1995 409t with a 2004 200 opti. 24 tempted three blade. Tournament load full tank by myself will run 61mph turning 5300rpm add one more person same rpm but on 58mph. Any suggestions. Thanks

92 Javelin 409T, 2000 johnson 200 with a 26p raker.. no jackplate I'm getting 64 by myself 61 with two. But I am a big boy don't help. 5600 rpm

Sounds like motor may be to low

If I pick it up any higher it takes forever to get on plane after you put water in the live well.

I had 409 dc paired with 200 johnson vemom. 24 raker is what was given to me but my boat really seemed to like the 25 renegade. Ran 65 full of gas amd amother guy with the gade. Always got up on pad nicely. Never a rocket but more than exceptable holeshot. No matter how i loaded it with the renegade it ran really comsistant
