Another ultrex question

First trip out 52..112..no link. I completely severed my transducer cable second time I deployed it. I left a loop at the top and it got caught in the hinge. My question is about the spot lock. I had it on anchor in a 10 mph wind and it seemed to hold me pretty good but the motor was constantly rotating left and right. The boat wasn't really moving that I could notice but it's frustrating listening to that thing go left right left right left right it never stops. Has anyone else had this happen? Do I not have something set up right?

I've seen mine do that but contributed it to changes in wind and waves

It seemed like a sustained wind out of the same direction but It is Lake Erie so anything is possible. I just hope it's not like this every time, I ended up just turning it off and using it like a fortrex I couldn't stand this thing constantly moving .
