    1998 Champion 191 livewell problems

Does anyone in or around the Spartanburg, SC area know how to replace the drain and or pipe on the livewell? It's under the gas tank.

Bummer. Definitely have to pull the tank. It's a tight fit but it does come out.

I have the same year & model. You should be able to remove the access cover between the gas tank & livewell. Along with the oil tank. This should allow you the access you need to feed a new pipe.
That's what I did. I changed all the pumps & hoses w/o pulling the tank.

All my pumps are accessible in the bottom of the boat but pipe under gas tank is not.

If you are talking about the live well drain itself, that is in the bottom of the live well, you cannot get to the drain fitting or where the hose connects to the drain fitting with the fuel tank in unless you are stretch armstrong.

    What exactly is the problem?
