This could slow the Tin Market...

I know I have read Ford Motor company has posted about Aluminum shortage, Ranger Boats had said they were delayed and my Crestliner Rep told me it has delayed some of there lines this year. I am still waiting for a build date for my PT20.

They might have to start making them out of actual tin.

Once aluminum fits a certain price point, someone in the US will start manufacturing it.

I always figured most aluminum boat manufacturers bought their aluminum from ALCOA and maybe they do. I would like to see a comparison of Chinese aluminum compared to USA aluminum. If Chinese steel is any indication of their quality, I would definitely prefer American aluminum.
