    Fuel line question.

I have 3/8 line from the tank to the bulb , from the bulb to the rigging tube , then it drops down to 5/16 line 9 " before the pulse pump. My question. ... would it hurt to change the fitting out on the pulse to accept 3/8 line ? Can it be a brass fitting ? Thoughts, concerns ?

Please see the Forum Announcements, and provide the REQUIRED info when posting. Thanks!

Fuel line should switch to 5/16" EPA Mercury B1-15 AT THE PRIMER BULB (Mercury or Quicksilver branded bulb).

Do NOT use 3/8 at the pulse pump, and do not change out the fitting (keep the NYLON fitting, and use a Part# 816311T Radius-Head Tie Wrap ONLY).

Very important to keep the WEIGHT down in this area- metal fittings and clamps can lead to fractures in the line, fitting or pump (and FUEL LEAKS).

My apologies Don. I forgot about the serial number. Thank you. I will replace the 3/8 hose when I rebuild my pulse pump.
