618 prop

Got a 618 with merc 150 4s 23 temp holeshot not good with heavy load 2 men and full live wells looking at getting 2 power poles plus I got to be able to pull kid on a tube this summer wondering if I went to a bravo 4 blade in a 21 would be good enough anyone running a 618 with 2 power pole any info would be greatly appreciated thanks just don't want to invest in a prop and not be right

I can't help you with a 4s but my merc 150proxs pulls a tuber with like no bodies business with a 22p.

I put a 22p on my 618 and liked the results. I could bump the rpm beeper in cool weather, but the hole shot was much better.

Yes, I ran a Tempest + 22p with the large hole plugs in.


I lost 1mph, but loaded heavy it performed much better for me.
