    Compressor strainer zip tie

Compressor strainer was completely plugged so pulled it and cleaned out. I have a small hose clamp that is the same width as the zip tie that was removed, but wanted to make sure it was ok before using. It would make it easier for future cleanings for sure. If the clamp is not ok, what zip tie gun and ties are acceptable? Google isn't very helpful and tie guns can get really expensive.

use OEM ratchet style, clamps the full circumference of the hose allowing an air tight/no leak seal

No problem with that, but other than getting the tie from a dealer, what about the gun to pull it to 20lbs?

Mcmaster Carr (100 packs) also has them and you don't need a gun.

You don't need a gun to install radius head zip-ties.

That Eastwood unit looks very good. I bought one from local hardware store and it does not work. Its all plastic and cost $10. Not worth even trying.

I use my fingers and a pair of flush cut wire nippers to trim the "tail", works every time.
