    CONTENT ID

    I am trying to register my hds7 gen2 for insigh genesis. I found the serial number but cant find the content id. does this mean i need to update my software?

    The seriealnumber and content-ID is on the same place in the Menu. If you use a seriealnumber from somewhere else, Insight Genesis WILL NOT WORK.

    Did you ever find an answer to this? I too have the same issue... No Content ID on the About page. I have the serial number.

    If there is no Content-ID, I`m guessing your unit is not compatible. If you tell us which unit you have, we would not have to guess. :)
