Anyone use the wedges from transducer shield and saver?

I called and spoke to them today and sent them pictures of my jackplate and transducer mount on my 10" Bob's action jack. It's mounted on the holeshot plate. They told me they sell wedges that account for the angle you'll need for the transducer adjustment. I asked her how they know what angle my boat is at and how much I would have to adjust my transducer. She told me the guy that makes these knows this about most makes of boats. Thoughts?

I have found them knowledgeable and helpful. I would assume they have had experience with all the jack-plates and hole-shot plates in the past and unless your boat is unusually weighted you will start out closer than without it. Bob

I use their transducer shield on my trolling motor and it works great. I guess I just didn't know how exact it could be without personally setting it up. She did tell me it was more of an average for the different brands of boats. My take away was if you're extremely detailed, it might not be for you, but if you're OK with close then it would work for you.

I went ahead and purchased it. We'll see how it goes. I think I'm going to check the angle manually using the level and coin process and see how close it is. I really like their product, so I imagine I'll probably use it. Thanks for the pics Troy that helped me visualize it and the helix mega is what I'm mounting using their wedge and bracket.

Wayne told me about it, but this video explains it pretty good too.

Even if you have an exotic setup as long as you provide the correct information they can figure out what you need
