You should see 72 to 74 depending on load.

When my 04 had the 225HO on it, I could run 76 with normal fishing load. Was turning a 27p Turbo TXP, but the best prop I ever ran on that combination was the 28 Bravo I, 72-75 with a tournament load. The 225HO is a surprisingly stout motor with the lightning gearcase.

    I have an 05 TR20x with a 225hp Etec (not HO) running a 26p Raker 3-blade could run on average between 72 - 74 depending on load/conditions.
I did run a 27p 3-blade at 77mph, but the chine at that speed with a large pitched prop started to get a little hairy. Would be controllable if you had a hydraulic jack plate but I do not have that luxury.

Great boat, great engine, 73 with a 26 Raker, if you haven't already, send the injectors to be cleaned and calibrated.

Do you guys have any issues with hole shot? I have a 225 Optimax and cant get out of the hole for crap with a tournament load. I've got a 26 bravo and a hydraulic jack plate but don't know what the "suggested" height is supposed to be.

You need to try a 25 fury or 25 tempest prop on the optimax and put large pvs plugs in them

ISUOFIA How many rpm's are you turning with the 26 Bravo on hole shot and what bravo is it new or old? You need to be in the 3500 to 4000 range.

I was wondering if I needed to drop to 25. I know these boats like lots of bow lift so was wondering if the fury 4blade would be better. Also interesting that you said put the large plugs in versus taking them all the way out.
I need to double check the RPM's because I honestly don't remember but would be shocked if I was close to 3500 RPM's.
