    Beam width of zx225 vs z520

    Does anyone have the beam measurement at the front pedestal for these boats? Just curious as I know the widest part of each boat but not at the front deck.

    What yr 225? 2011s and older were a touch wider than the new ones

    2015+ 61"
    2011 older 63"

    According to the chart RangerRodney posted Skeeter ZX 225 is 61" and the Ranger z520 is 73 1/2".

    I didn't think the skeeters would be that much narrower up front. Any guys who fish both notice a difference ? Especially going from the 520 to the 225?

    It doesnt feel like that much. Maybe the pedestal is farther back on the ranger. I love the front decks on a zx225 and 250 both

    Very True. The 520 is as long as the ZX250. The 225 is closer to the 519 which is 66" across. Also the center of the seat post on the 2015+ 225 is 35" from the front edge of the carpet.
