    BOAT SCALE SETTING ON ULTREX

What are you guys finding is the best setting for boat scale on tour Ultrex trolling motor? I have a 2015 Skeeter ZX250 the hull alone is 2200 lbs. so with engine and gear I'm thinking I'm close to 3500 lbs. Just wanted to see what others have set there boat scale at and what worked well.

Thanks guys, I set my boat scale to 1 and it seems a lot better! I had it set on 2 and it was constantly hunting, what a difference going from boat scale 2 to 1

-2 on Alpha 211. Read the boat scale directions in the manual. We arent driving 5,000 lb rigs. Spot lock works better when it uses lower speeds to correct itself.

Correct.... However in some conditions or with some boats, the lower speeds cause you to drift off the spot more before it kicks in more to correct. One setting may not be best all the time. I'm thankful to have the choices though. This motor is impressive to say the least.
