Question Carpet, Vinyl, or non skid

Looking at buying a used pontoon, Carpet and seats need replacing. Which is better to go back with? Carpet, Vinyl or non skid? The floor is wood and looks in great shape...I'm concerned about going back with carpet, getting wet on wood floor.....

Just replaced our carpet with the Marideck vinyl. We bought the heavier weigh vinyl as it covers more floor imperfections. Vinyl takes a bit more work and I had to sand the wood floor before installing but we love it. We'll never have carpet on another pontoon.

This^^ My pontoon has carpet and it's always moldy and a PITA. If/When I re do it or get another toon, it will be with the no skid vinyl.

Another vote for vinyl. Would love to get rid of the carpet on my Southbay. Otherwise, we love it.

Is vinyl or the marine type flooring that's being referenced hot on bare feet in the summer?
