    Charger question

    2002 Ranger 185vs.

I have the onboard 3 banks charger and since I changed to Deka AGM batteries (new refurbished and tested okay at factory prior to purchase), the middle light will not remain green (1st and 3rd stay green). The middle would be green, then flash red every 20 seconds or so. I don't recall this happening with my previous set of batteries which were wet cell Dekas.

I did try swapping the leads from one battery to the other and the middle ligh still flashes the red bars every 20 or so seconds.

Is this normal? Maintenance mode topping off batteries perhaps? Batteries have never bee used and charged up fine wit my portable charger prior to instaling.

Any help is much appeciated! Thanks!

Find your serial number and call the charger manufacturer, Dual Pro(ProChargingSystems). If your charger is older than around 2008, seems it is not AGM compatible depending on who you ask.

I would call Dual Pro. They have pretty good customer service.

Here is a link to the FAQ troubleshooting:

Here is a link to the manual - it may help.
