    Douglas May 12-15

My buddy and I are planning on fishing Douglas May 12-15. Have fished this lake maybe 2 times. Can someone give me some info on what type of baits and structure we need to be fishing? Any help would be appreciated.

During that time, you should try to locate schools on main lake structure. Depth around 20 to 30 feet near river bends, long points etc. Fish Swimbaits, Deep Diving Cranks, Flutter Spoons, and Bucktails. If fish are suspending, count your swimbait down tot he depth and then slow roll thru them. If oriented to the bottom, drag or dredge them. Have a blessed time on the water.

Strike King 8XD and 10XD. Favorite is Black Splatter back. Remember that once you get a school fired up, keep casting. They will shut off pretty quickly if you let up.
