Just look it over very close. Take a hammer with you, when you hit it in various spots it should ting. If its a thud then it is rusted inside the tube. Mine was a 08 and it is in the scrape yard.

My 2005 is a c frame and it has no
signs of rust. Has been kept in a garage since new. Brakes have not worked in a while but don't really
need them with a heavy tow vehicle. Just look it over real good before you decide.
