Hey Y'all
my gauge stopped reading today. I have power to it and my sending unit was replaced about 2 years ago. When I turn the key, the needle jumps slightly but remains below the empty line.
Any thoughts here?

Take the access panel to the sending unit off and cross the positive and negative wire with a screwdriver to ground out. Look at the gauge and see if it tops out to the full side. If it does, it is sending unit. Also, Make sure that the wires on the cranking battery are on correct.

Yep did that and it jumps to full. Do you know what type of sending unit I need ?
Could still be wiring. Bridge pink wire to ground at the sending unit and see if the gauge goes to full then.
If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,
nothing else matters.
I bridged the pink to ground and that's what made it junp

Moeler I think. You will have to purchase one that has a universal rod and cut it for you depth. Get ready for a fun R/R on that sending unit!

Well the problem was that the float arm housing and rod became separated from the mounting bracket, luckily the wire from
the sending unit was still connected so I could pull it out. Unfortunate thing is I have a few small screws at the bottom of the tank. Surely there is a filter screen in the tank right?
replaced with new unit and works again.
No screen that I know of.
