Hydraulic jack plate on 04 TR21x?

I'm having this TR21X rigged with a 250 HPDI....currently hanging on the hull is a manual jack plate....looks 10", but I'm not sure.

Seeing as this is a work in progress over the next 7 weeks....should I request a hydraulic plate??

Yes and at least an 8" one.

OK thanks, I'll ask for an 8" to be installed when the motor is hung.

I have ran a 10" Atlas and now a 10" Bob's Action Jack on my Tr21X w/250 ProXs combo, would highly recommend a 10" plate for your rig too.

reading....will the 10" plate need a hole shot plate to stop back wash?

My Bob's action jack came with the plate already attached on the bottom. They help so yes, I recommend one of those too.
