2003 stratos 201 xl seat post insert

I have a 2003 stratos 201 pro xl , I have a butt seat on the front deck that now is very loose inside the front deck insert . Is there a sleeve or is there a way to put some type of adapter sleeve or insert that would make the seat post more secure without the wobble
    thanks

sounds like you have the wrong size post. They come in 2 sizes and it should be a tight slip into the deck with no gap. If you have a picture that would help.

Yes. On my 2003 200 pxl there is a black plastic piece that sits inside the hole. Sometimes it comes out when I pull the seat out. Without the plastic insert the post will wobble around

What is the wall thickness of the black plastic piece?

I have the wobble problem in my 2004 too, but I thought it's just because the receiver in the floor is wallowed out and needs to be replaced. I wrapped aluminum duct tape around the post to tighten it up, but it isn't lasting. I don't think there is room for a sleeve unless it is very thin walled.

Did you find a insert yet?
I'll take time this weekend and get you the part number. I ended up getting mine from Scott at Ranger. Tried twice on another order and was wrong insert. They make two ever but different style plastic inserts.

    seat insert info

Morning, I took pictures of the seat insert part numbers and pieces needed to set them in the hole.
If believe Scott said with the part number shown it uses the springfield taper lock pedestal pole and is the 1.77 dia.

I figured a picture of the kit, part number, and pictures of the pole would help give better idea of my setup and help others..
