Question Bass fishing around Columbia TN?

My wife and I are looking to buy land in TN and it seems that Columbia keeps popping up in our price range. My one stipulation for our land is we need to be near a decent bass lake. Of course I would like to be around Knoxville or Chattanooga but that is looking to be too pricey for the amount of land we want. Am I going to find anyplace to fish around Columbia? Thanks

As far a close... Not much within a hour.
But you will be real central to Wheeler Pickwick, Gunterville, Kentucky, Percy Priest, and Old Hickory all would be within reach for just a day trip.
There is a few small wma lake in Columbia at Williamsport WMA and you also have the Duck River, that has some decent smallmouth but i would put a bass boat in.
    Hope this helps.

1.5 to 2.5 hours will get you to countless lakes. But it will take that.

So she needs to find land 1.5 to 2.5 hours away from Columbia. Thank you for the replies!
