2006 opti analog trim gauge problem

    Hi Guys!

I have 2006 200 opti on the 620VS Ranger I just bought. The trim readout on the smartcraft gauge works fine but the analog gauge that is inside one of the ranger gauges does not. What should I be checking? I need the analog to work. Motor only has 162 hours on it.

    Thanks!

    -Eli

You cant have both. If Smartcraft works, you have a digital sender and will not work on analog gauge. If you replace sender with analog, you will not have trim pop up feature or any other smartcraft related trim feature

Seriously? That sucks. I thought they made a digital to analog converter for smartcraft?

Why would this not work? My dad had Ranger rig one of these on his Verado powered boat and he had all functions in his Merc Monitor as well as all the analog. (same analogs that are in my boat)

It might work but a system link trim gauge will probably be cheaper and easier to install.

Except that my trim gauge is integrated into another gauge and they all match.

Look at the pics, the one with the instructions says only for 14 pin Digital Throttle and Shift systems. That is a Verado thing.
