    Hammer rods for CAROLINA Rig.

Those of you who have hammers and use them for carolina rigging, what are you using?

I have used my 7' H for 3/4 oz C-rigging and it worked great, excellent feel, always positive hookup esp with the parabolic bend and stout backbone, and caught a bunch with it. That was just an experiment, if I was to buy one specifically for that purpose I would get a 7'3" H or 7'6" H

Tackle Trap Limited 7'6" Heavy - the longer handle makes the two handed casting and tucking the butt up under your arm very comfortable.

Sounds like 7'-6 is the way to go.
