Remove clear coat

On my 89' Javelin the previous owner sprayed some clear coat on top of the gel coat. How. An I remove that? What is the best way?

Depends on how far gone it is. If it's peeling you can sometimes get under it with a pressure washer and a teflon scraper to get most of it off.

If it is still fairly solid you may have to wet sand it off or use one of the chemical fiberglass strippers like Peel Away or Aqua Strip.
