I took my daughter out Saturday afternoon chasing gobblers. We sat in the blind for a couple hours. I could hear two birds gobbling above us in the wheat field. So I decided to go after em. We snuck up behind some big square bales. They were 400-500 yards away. I started calling and they were coming. If they would have held their line they would have walked right in the end of her gun. BUT...as turkeys do they decided to go around the other end of the stack. So quickly I had her move and get set up on the other end. It took them awhile to get to her. When it peeked around the bale he was 5 feet from her. She let out a squeal that'd curl your hair. He went to puttin' and hurried back the other direction. Not sure who was more startled.. LOVED IT!
