Opinions on 2002 19ss extreme

I was hoping you guys could help me out on any experience with a 2002 19 as extreme with a 2006 ficht.I currently fish out of a 20' ranger but have owned bullet,stroker and champion.The boat is clean with less than 100 hrs on the motor.thanks

They are fine, but you are going downhill from those boats.

Check with the boys on the Evinrude forum before you do anything with that motor...

I do not believe there is such a thing as a 2006 Fitch DFI Evinrude. As far as I know 2005 was the last year.

Thanks for the input guys,I've always owned mercs and therefore don't know much about the Evinrudes.the boat looks clean but I was hoping for some positive feedback before I made a 14 hour drive round trip to look at it

I'd hit up Championman about the motor. From my own understanding the Fichts that were the issues were the 150,175. If it's still running then it's one of the good ones. The boat is solid. Yes it will be smaller than a 20ft Ranger but it all depends on what kind of lakes you fish. It will be an all composite boat.

My 2004 225 HO is not a ficht, classified as a DFI motor. Also is a BRP product. Very happy with it.

Pretty sure it is still a Ficht and they are DFI.

I had a 2002 Ficht, which I believe was a BRP. I would disagree that it was good.
