You'll be hard pressed to find anything but the shoreline to 3' depth willow/cane grass. No matted grass like there used to be since the flood. What is your definition of upper end? Fish are in all stages now, this weekend should be a good one. Week before last water in the mid-lake area/Cages Bend was just touching 60 degrees.

I would think Bledsoe should be on fire. I consider upper end to be steam plant to little Cedar Creek above the 231 bridge, beyond that all the way to Cordell Hull dam its essentially a river and striper fisherman's area. I would also be willing to bet Barton's Creek and Spring Creek would be well worth spending time in.
