    LOZ- Niangua

Anybody fish the Niangua Arm of lake regularly? Curious how it fishes compared to other areas, such as near the dam. I enjoy the low boat traffic and no abundance of big boats but I seem to struggle fishing in this arm of the lake. I have fished the Big Niangua all the way to Ha ha Tonka and also up the Little Niangua. 2 weeks ago, the water temp was in the low 60's....and I didnt see any fish on beds. Thoughts?

I think that the problem is what you have mentioned. Everyone is there for the same reasons that you are. It gets fished hard. I have found that fishing is tougher than it used to be. Was there last week and saw ONE shallow bass. Then again it may be the weather, the fish are confused. It has been a strange winter/spring.

look deeper. I was at the 8mm easter weekend the chimps were on beds shallow and the better ones were on beds 4 to 6 foot deep. Good luck to all those in the BBB.
